I am Sam Fisher, recently released from a four-year prison sentence related to the January 6th events, having been out for three and a half weeks now.

Before January 6, I operated a small dating coaching business called LuxLife, dedicated to assisting men in navigating relationships with women. Additionally, I managed a blog, bradholiday.com, where I expressed my views on fitness, politics, dating, and more. My aim was to offer engaging and beneficial content that not only sustained my business but also hopefully inspired people to make positive changes in their lives.

On January 6, I attended the Trump rally. It was my first political rally, and President Trump had encouraged us to come to D.C. I felt it was important to show my support for the President, stand up for America, and protest the stolen election.

I attended Trump’s speech and left feeling disheartened. It seemed as though he was giving up, even with the evidence of fraud present.

Just as I was getting ready to head home, enjoying a hamburger and fries, I found myself unexpectedly encouraged by unknown individuals to join a protest at the capitol. Despite initial hesitation, I joined the demonstration, only to be met with tear gas and concussion grenades. Eventually, I was directed through an open door into the capitol building. I didn’t damage property, harm anyone, or take anything.

Feeling disheartened, I returned home. Two weeks later, my life was completely upended when the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force arrested me at gunpoint with around 30 agents present. They used a misdemeanor trespassing warrant to justify the raid and search of my property. In the process, they wrecked my car and the apartment where I was staying, and confiscated my electronics.

They secured my hands with zip ties and subjected me to an intense interrogation. They denied me bail and confined me to administrative segregation at MCC Manhattan.

After that, I was sent to Oklahoma, Virginia, and Washington, D.C.

They released me on bail, but then Alvin Bragg in New York charged me in a case involving my rifle. Despite having no prior criminal history, he decided to prosecute me. Interestingly, he dropped 65% of violent felony cases that year. Yet, he chose my case to pursue. The NYPD apprehended me in DC, where I was held on a $250,000 bond.

I was released on bail and secured the services of a highly respected lawyer. He advised me to engage a psychiatrist to prepare a court brief. So, I enlisted a psychiatrist in addition to his legal representation.

Ultimately, ADA Stuart from Braggs’ office and his team disregarded my defense. They ignored my dedication, working seven days a week while on bail, leading an AA meeting, and attending church. Despite being an ideal candidate for adjudication pending resolution, similar to how the AG’s office handled far more severe cases involving real victims, property damage, and extensive criminal histories, they sentenced me to three and a half years in New York State prison for my unloaded AR-15, stored in my apartment.

In April 2022, I was placed in New York State custody. By November, Judge Nichols sentenced me to four months of consecutive incarceration in federal prison. This sentence excluded me from participating in work release or shock military programs, which could have allowed me to return home 18 months earlier.

Altogether, I spent time in 13 different facilities and served 34 months.

I maximized my productivity to the fullest.

I pursued a paralegal career, completed 57 college credits, authored over 100 patriotic short stories, mastered drawing and painting, and earned certifications as an electrician, painter, and drywaller.

During my time in prison, I gained experience in a variety of roles, including electrician, maintenance worker, porter, GED facilitator, Protestant facilitator, law library clerk, and groundskeeper.

During my time in prison, I endured every conceivable hardship. I experienced solitary confinement and witnessed death. I encountered corrupt officers, faced threats of rape, extortion, and gang violence. I saw assaults, stabbings, and brutalization, and lived through numerous fights and attacks.

Since coming out, I’ve realized that I’ll never be the same.

I’m uncertain whether it’s good or bad. I focus on staying busy with work in the trades to keep my mind occupied.

Due to being labeled a domestic terrorist by the FBI and defamed by mainstream media, finding work has been extremely challenging for me.

Not due to the conviction itself, but because of the publicity surrounding my case.

I hope this fundraiser will help me recover a portion of the substantial legal fees and provide financial support for my future bills as I work to rebuild my business and career.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.
